My Current MUST-DO for Young Families

Ok, so I KNOW I just wrote about this— but it was so seriously fun, it deserves a 2nd shout out!  On Friday, my little guy and I joined friends at Luminocity’s DINO SAFARI in the Freehold Mall parking lot and I must say— it was a TON of fun!

After eating a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory, we walked over to the illuminated Dino Safari during sunset and WOW, was it cool!  The light-up dino displays are ALL photo worthy and the hands-on activities were nicely curated for a great evening with little kids.  We had a blast and honestly, it’s probably the best family outing for littles around right now!

Tickets are available online (and you can save a bit if you use the code, NJTODDLER, at checkout) but note it is definitely worth the add-ons to ride the little dinosaurs (they really zip around through their course, it is so cool) play in the bounce houses/ throw the axes (don’t worry, they aren’t real axes lol), and go mining for gems.

Here’s a list of the fun you can plan to enjoy: 

*Seeing life-sized Dinos (they move so the kiddos really feel like they are interacting with them-- so fun).

*Running through the beautiful light-up tunnels

*Seeing a walking dinosaur roam the park and greet guests

*Jump and dance on the massive light-up board 

*Ride the little dinosaurs (probably my favorite thing we did that evening! SO FUN. Please note that you will need to ride with them)

*Play on the seesaw

*Dig for fossils in the sandbox

*Go mining for gems

*Bounce in the bounce house

*Throw the "axes" in the bounce area

*Eat a yummy snack

*Pick out a fun dino souvenir

You are going to leave with LOTS of great pictures, special new memories and some tired out kids who just had a fantastic time.

Seriously ya’ll—- I can’t recommend this enough!  It’s pretty likely we will go again before the tour leaves.  Such a happy time– don’t sleep on this!
