I’ve been looking for more creative group fun for my toddler and a friend shared that she has started a new business called Painted Pinecone Society! Per their website “Painted Pinecone Society is a faith-based craft and play club for little lovers of art and nature!” They run a variety of programs but I am most excited that they offer things for kids ages 2-4. I feel once a child hits 5, there are TONS of options for them. Ages 2-4, I still feel, are very underserved in many communities– which is the whole reason I created this blog in the first place! I am thrilled there is now another local business that wants to work with our little ones!
I want my little dude to create positive friendships in wholesome environments where he can laugh and learn. Painted Pinecone hits all my important boxes and I am so thrilled that they just announced their first 5 week mommy and me program starting in May.
On Wednesdays at 2pm in May, The Painted Pinecone will be running a class at The Well Community Collective in Belmar. (They have affordable open play there for toddlers too!).
This program is described as follows: “Step 'Into the Wild' with this sensory-rich mommy and me class, designed to nurture young imaginations. It will spark creativity with nature-inspired crafts, ignite purposeful play through hands-on sensory exploration, and develop curiosity with captivating stories inspired by the great outdoors! Join us for ‘wild’ unforgettable fun where imagination thrives, senses awaken, and creativity blossoms.”
There are only 15 spaces in this class. What’s great is that you can just pick a few dates if you can’t attend all 5! You can buy your available dates a la carte which is PERFECT for busy families or if you want your child to try a session or two before committing to 5.
